Somló dumplings
This is not a sourdough recipe, but a very tasty, easy to make dessert - a recipe for somló dumplings, as we make them.
Ingredients
Pasta
- 5 db Egg
- 260 g flour
- 260 g sugar
- 1 package baking powder
- 1 dl edible oil
- 1 dl lukewarm water
Cream
- 1 l milk
- 2 package vanilla pudding
- 3 e sugar
Chocolate sauce
- 1 board dark chocolate
- milk
Other ingredients
- 1 Box pineapple jar
- mazsola
- rum or rum flavouring
- whipped cream
Instructions
- Soak the raisins in rum or rum-flavoured water for a few hours.
- First beat the eggs with the sugar until frothy, then add the lukewarm water and oil. Add the flour and baking powder. Mix and pour into a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven on the bottom-up baking programme for about 20 minutes until golden brown. Allow the sponge cake to cool.
- Meanwhile, boil the vanilla cream and leave to cool. Once cool, cut the sponge cake into small pieces and fold into the vanilla cream.
- Prepare the chocolate sauce or melt a bar of chocolate and dilute with milk. The other method is: 6 dl of milk, 1 chocolate pudding and melt some more dark chocolate.
- Layering: 1. Creamed sponge cake2. Pineapple chunks3. Mazsola4. Chocolate dressingWe will repeat these again.
- Before eating, top with whipped cream.
